I've been begging Philip to cut Adeline's blocks for months now, and he finally did! [the only powertool I am allowed to touch is the electric sander].
So between learning to knit, entertaining a demanding baby, cooking, and cleaning; I managed to get these done.
I wanted them to look old, worn, and antique.
I think I accomplished that.
Although making them took many coats of modpodge and a lot of patience, I actually enjoyed the process. These will make great gifts!!
I have a letter of the alphabet on each block. Each block has 3 capitol letters and 3 lower case.
My next set I'll have to throw numbers in there.
My Squiggles loved them--
I think:
It was hard to tell since this guy was on.

LOVE THE BLOCKS! I wish I was as creative as you are! I have been craving to do some craft projects but I'm not sure what to do or how to do them!!! You make me feel like a little kid when I get to see all the neat things you do b/c I just ask myself oh why didn't I think of that! LOL
ReplyDeleteTotally cute! My 3 yr-old asked me to make her some building blocks just the other day. Your lettering style is awesome. Love the "Q." Thanks for linking up!
