Dying Eggs

I kind of slack in the decorating my house for Spring/Easter department.
I don't really know why since I'm always full out during the Holidays in the later part of the year.
I guess it's just preferable to spend the time outside since it's so pretty.

One thing I do always have to do is dye eggs--duh.
We had my friend Chere's daughter Stella today since she's off for spring break.
I knew she'd enjoy dying eggs a little more than Addie, so we decided to give it ago.
Rock on.

Stella was mostly in charge of decorating and choosing color combination, while the baby got a nice review of her colors. I am proud to say at 14 months old she knows the color green. We're working on blue, but it comes and goes.
It was really sweet watching how intricate Stella was with the details. I enjoyed having a 5 year old around especially for this project!

Looks like some pretty neat Easter eggs to me!

  1. I bet Stella was quite happy you decided to do it while she was there. She looks like she's really into crafts and had a great time. I know your just itching for Adeline to be that old so y'all can do more things like that. Enjoy every second of it!

  5. I love the pic where Stella is dying the egg, and Adeline is just kind of looking at her.
