Turtle Cupcakes

I remember when we were teenagers, and we'd be so bored!
No bills to pay, no cleaning to do, no errands to run, no kids to raise? Yea it's hard to even remember what bored means! Sometimes it seems as though the only slow down times are when we're
a. praying
b. taking a shower
c. sleeping
and the thing with c is that you shut your eyes for a moment and all of a sudden wake up to hours passed by and morning here and ready for the rush all over again.

It's alright. God made some beautiful things around me, and I'm enjoying them all!

So since I've been a little absent from blogging lately, I'll share some pictures over the passed couple of weeks that make me smile:

and here are some things I've learned over the past couple of weeks:
-If you give the turmoil, conflict, and faith to Jesus, he will give you peace.
-Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream is so yummy!
-The devil likes a quiet Christian.
-Appreciate the seemingly insignificant.
-My husband has faith in me when I don't.
- Increase in rain means increase in weeds in the flower bed by double!!
-I should never never take my eyes off of my 2 year old.
-Sams always has the freshest produce.
-There is never really enough time.
-Prayer is really, really powerful.

Philip has a 3 day weekend, so we're excited to have an extra day with Daddy home! Looking forward to a lot! :)

Remember while appreciating our country's birthday to pray for it's direction and for God to put His hand over America. Lord knows we need it!

Have a blessed 4th of July weekend.
