Here We Go...

I usually have a lot to say and little place to say it.
So we'll give this a shot.

I'm a myspace blogger, but I figure I can get a little more personal on here and keep my other blogs for pictures as I've done in the past.

I don't suppose you need an introduction to my life story since the very few readers will be friends and family anyway.
Right now Philip and I are in Glenn, Mississippi which is in almost the most northeastern corner of the state. We evacuated yesterday from Gustav who has me sicker than usual to my stomach.
It was extremely hard for me to leave for some reason. I knew it'd be safer for me and the baby especially if we'd be facing days without electricity as we did for Katrina and Rita. It was also hard to not want to stay and ride this thing out with our brand new house. It seems like it took everything to get it done, and within days its very existence is threatened. Terrebonne Parish is under a mandatory evacuation, so I hope everyone else got out too no matter what we're all leaving behind. Storm surges are supposed to be extreme and higher or lower than ten foot depending on area. We'll see how it goes, it should make landfall tomorrow. Thank God he's calmed himself from a Category 5 to a 3. Gustav threw us a bone.

Aside from anxiety from the storm, I'm still violently ill from this stupid morning (all day) sickness. I'm at 17 weeks. You'd think I'd have caught a break, but no. I still puke 3-4 times a day on a good day. This will be my last kid. I don't know if I can ever handle this again.

Thank God for Unisom. I gotta get some sleep.
