A Little Spotlight

I'm usually in bed for 8-8:30 where I read and study for a half hour to an hour and then off to sleep for 9ish. 
What? Once Adeline is sleeping and the chores are done there's no one here to talk to, so I might as well get some beauty rest?

Not last night. 
I didn't go to bed until....10:40...[gasp]
I was up making a dress for Adeline, and I couldn't stop. 

Apparently Adeline didn't appreciate my hard work and dedicated sleep hours because she was up before 5:30 this morning.
It's not even light outside yet. 

Isn't it sad that with plenty of sleep that I did get, I'm already tired from missing 2 hours? I value my sleep, people haha. I've got to stock up for the upcoming months.

Anyway, she's up=I'm up, and while she's Mickey Mousin' I'm a bloggin.

I'm so interested and inspired by it, I definitely wanted to share it with ya'll.
I used to be pretty big into yoga, but I never even thought of combining yoga with prayer and worship, which really makes total sense. Total duh, huh?
I really wish there were a class in Houma like the one she attends.
Anyway, I thought it'd be a cool thing to share, and get into so here's the link to her post:

I wish I could say I were off to do some right now, but yoga isn't very peaceful with a toddler hanging on your neck repeating "Mammi, Mammi, heeeyyyy mami" in a new and peculiar Spanish influence type of accent. 
I do know that from experience. 


  1. i wish i had the motivation to do yoga... or ANY exercise!!!!

    i definitely do NOT sleep well these days... i feel like i'm always yawning!!

  6. I really want to get more into yoga. I haven't done it since early in my third trimester of my last pregnancy. Yesterday was my 6 week postpartum checkup, and I got the go ahead for working out again. Maybe I'll do some yoga tonight.
