Homemade Wheat Bread

I love homemade bread.
Like you don't even understand how much I love homemade bread. 
I have my favorites, but since we're more conscious of what we eat around here, I wanted a more healthy option.
Each slice of this bread  has 154 calories, 6 grams of fat, 2 grams saturated fat. 

So I took off my rings, got my ingredients ready, and turned to my go-to cook books for a yummy, healthy homemade bread recipe.
I ended up going with Wheat Bread recipe from my newer cook book, The Taste of Home Cookbook. 
It was pretty easy, the hardest part was waiting for the bread to rise. 
I'm not a good waiter. 
My favorite part bread-making: Punching the dough.
Too bad I only get to give it one good one. 

Mmmmm I was so glad it was done baking and ready to eat, but a little disappointed my house wouldn't smell like fresh bread for much longer.
It was a winner with the wee one too ;)
