5 Years Married!

Happy 5 year wedding anniversary to us!

I remember our wedding day to be one of the funnest, happiest days of my entire life.  Philip's genuine smile and sweetness that day is something I hope I continue to always recall so vividly.
Thank you God for him!
10 years together... 2 kids later... 32 weeks pregnant on #3
and
I got crazy and thought that a maternity/wedding anniversary photo shoot would be a cool way to commemorate this time in our lives.

Why I thought it'd be a good idea to photograph myself at 8 months pregnant and gigantic and too swollen to even wear my wedding rings?
Well pretty much because of Holi Powder.

It looked really fun, and as long as you can manage not to snort or swallow any, it totally is fun!
So we went for it.

My good friend Sunshine @ Jacky Ro Photography came and took some beautiful shots of us throwing this stuff at each other.
Other than our tendency to be awkward.......and Philip's tendency to be sneaky and unpredictable, we got some cute pictures of us playing like children.
I should be embarrassed to share these shots of me at the biggest I've ever been, ever, but I'm going to just bank on it's only going to be that way for 1, maybe 2 more months.
Besides on my 5th wedding anniversary.........
this was us. and this is how I looked. and since it's not the prettiest, why not cover it up with Holi powder and call it art?

Okay, well if that was stretching it... at least calling my husband incredibly hot in multicolor isn't.
Because.....
baby you are so sexy with a yellow mustache.
boww owwwwwwwwwww
and while I do feel like I've spent the most of our married years pregnant and pregnant aaaaand pregnant, I feel like I've been blessed enough to feel so much abundant love over and over again multiplied each day.

I love you, husband.
Happy Anniversary, and thank you for letting me throw paint powder at your face.
That was fun.

  3. I know I'm totally late on this... but Happy Anniversary! Looks like you had a lot of fun!! I have never heard of Holi Powder - but I have a feeling that my husband wouldn't let it near our house... LOL! I, on the other hand, would love to get my hands on some! FUN!
