Selah Soon

There's a lot on my heart right now.
So much I could write on and on about.
Selah's name is believed to mean: "to pause and listen" or "to meditate upon" or "to praise and lift up". The word is found most commonly through the book of Psalms and although the Hebrew word isn't used as a name, we chose it to name our precious daughter with.

In light of her name, I've been trading in my psycho/emotional temperament with a more peaceful, reflective one.
I am guilty of spontaneously switching with little to no warning, though, sorry.

Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.
Selah. Psalm 4:4

Selah wasn't on my carefully planned and neatly organized calander, but she was on God's.
Thank you Lord.
I've carried her for 40 full, hard weeks and now as the end of this season is approaching and a new one excitedly peeking I find myself trying to really dig deep for lessons the Lord has taught me and is trying to teach me through the hardship of pregnancy for me and my family.

I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Selah. Psalm 3:4

I am so thankful, so thankful. He chose me.
I am so blessed for his presence throughout these hardships.
I am so honored to be a child of God.
Patience and faith and all of the tests are worth it--she is worth it, and very soon we finally get to meet the fruit of all of this labor... no really I've been in "early labor" for days, home girl will undoubtedly be here in a matter of days.
I am so full of gratefulness, and really jam packed with excitement, smothered with overemotional anticipation. Praying for the Lord's blessing and favor over what we hope to be a smooth labor. Praying for a healthy baby girl ready to get in on a whole lot of lovin.
Praying to a God that is so immeasurably good.

Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah. Psalm 3:8

38 week update

I keep waking up pregnant every morning.
It's kind of an issue.

All day yesterday I had contractions back to back to back.
Just like I did last Friday and the Sunday before that.
Most of them were really strong, take-my-breath-away braxton hicks, but every 6 or so were painful.
I love the painful ones.
and they irregularly came all. day. long.
A few here and there crippling me thinking it was go time.

aaand so I declared that yesterday was going to be birthday, much like I do most days so no one believed me.

Guess they were right because even after dreaming that my water broke last night I woke up ripe and pregnant.

Which is really annoying.
Let me show you what I'm workin' with:
That's 38.5 weeks of swollen, back-achin, heart-burning, ever present hyperemesis-puking torture right there.

Lovely comments about my giganto size just keep rollin' in so I mostly stay home and bounce on my yoga ball, pace around my living room, and eat a lot of pineapple.
You people and your comments no longer phase me, and I no longer have a filter on my sassy mouth, so I'm sorry when I hurt your feelings after you questionably hurt mine.
So I stay home to prevent awkward situations like that. :)

I think for the rest of my life the number one hated phrase for me will be "still at 1cm". I may have heard that phrase oh at least 3 dozen times over these pregnancies/labors.
I was 1cm with Adeline for 5 weeks and then 6 hours into labor after Pitocin when I was overdue.
I was 1cm with Gideon for 4 weeks and then 5 hours into labor after Pitocin at 40 weeks.
and I've been 1cm for 2 weeks with this gal.
My other labors were long and hard having to be induced so I was really hoping to go into labor on my own this time. Especially since I'll be having a natural labor with no medication--say whaaa?

I had epidurals for my other two, for Addie's pregnancy it only worked on the right side of my body, and for Gideon it failed 100% all together.
So.... I'm not going to drug myself or the baby this time if it doesn't even work.
To me compared to pregnancy, labor is a piece of cake.
So I'ma have that all natural n stuff.
I'm a soldier ya'll. For real, I ain't scared.

I've got some Gungor and other worship songs on my playlist for labor and I'm going to really just pray that I am able to go in without getting induced. Preferably any day now.
Or any second.
Please.
Please.

Now, on a totally non-whiny note:
Last week I wrapped up the summer bible study myself and 5 or 6 friends were going through.
We did Kelly Minter's study on Nehemiah, and I'm so glad God led me to this book in the word, and to the group of ladies I got to study with.
Leading a group was a first for me, but I loved the accountability I had in keeping up with the studying and the learning and homework.
I learned a lot through this study this summer, and I got to enjoy some of my favorite Godly women over for dinner every week!

Except for last weeks last study I thought I probably scared them away forever.
I'm just going to say that a major over dramatic melt down was had by the phsyco pregnant girl and it involved snot and the ugly cry. You know what I'm talkin about.

My sweet friends were so kind and understanding and even though the more they talked the more I cried, it was more out of embarrassment that once I start I cannot turn it off to save my freaking life.

My friends prayed over me and for me, my pregnancy, my mind, my family, my husband, my kids and I  have never, ever been more humbled and grateful and raw in desperate need for Jesus as I was in that moment. Even though Jesus himself was probably up there wondering where my crazy head was at and why I freak out all of the time. I just don't know, Jesus.

Just kidding.
Nothing's to small for my King.
Not even my unexplainable meltdowns.
Not even when your 3 year old cuts off her hair in a 3 minute time out styling herself botchy mullet.
Yes. It happened.

Anyway, these ladies did one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me this week, and I still can't believe it. They got me a prenatal massage.... like by a masseuse. A professional one.
and. they watched my children and cleaned my house while I went.
Like showed up at my door leaving me no choice but to get in my car and go away. for 2 hours. Wow.
Just one of those things would have been enough to make me cry in overwhelming happiness, but all three? What an amazing blessing.
I mean I had a lady rub even my toes.
and my bathroom is clean.
It's a big deal.
Thank you friends. Thank you, thank you thank you.
I feel so loved and grateful.

Alright well one last thing I need you to know before I log off indefinitely and do 250 hip swirls in attempt to open up my stubborn cervix.

I just baked cookies.
Like homemade, from scratch, peanut butter, criss cross with a fork cookies.
I had a craving (which I never, ever have because I kind of hate food when I'm pregnant) yesterday for them and I could not get them out of my mind.
So I ate a spoonful of PB which did not satisfy.

This morning I grabbed my Martha Stewart cookie cook book and Lord have mercy I had all of the ingredients to make some!

But then the consistency wasn't right and the batter was fluffy and whippy and wouldn't settle so I could criss cross a fork on them.

So I was incredibly let down and maybe threw some things into the sink as I tried not to let my children see me cry over whippy cookie dough.

and then.
I baked them anyway.
and when they came out.
I used a fork and criss-crossed that dough.

Which of course made them the best cookies ever.
and I needed you to know that.

Now.
I have to go beg my body to start having contractions.
The painful ones.
Regularly.

Gotta go.

5 Years Married!

Happy 5 year wedding anniversary to us!

I remember our wedding day to be one of the funnest, happiest days of my entire life.  Philip's genuine smile and sweetness that day is something I hope I continue to always recall so vividly.
Thank you God for him!
10 years together... 2 kids later... 32 weeks pregnant on #3
and
I got crazy and thought that a maternity/wedding anniversary photo shoot would be a cool way to commemorate this time in our lives.

Why I thought it'd be a good idea to photograph myself at 8 months pregnant and gigantic and too swollen to even wear my wedding rings?
Well pretty much because of Holi Powder.

It looked really fun, and as long as you can manage not to snort or swallow any, it totally is fun!
So we went for it.

My good friend Sunshine @ Jacky Ro Photography came and took some beautiful shots of us throwing this stuff at each other.
Other than our tendency to be awkward.......and Philip's tendency to be sneaky and unpredictable, we got some cute pictures of us playing like children.
I should be embarrassed to share these shots of me at the biggest I've ever been, ever, but I'm going to just bank on it's only going to be that way for 1, maybe 2 more months.
Besides on my 5th wedding anniversary.........
this was us. and this is how I looked. and since it's not the prettiest, why not cover it up with Holi powder and call it art?

Okay, well if that was stretching it... at least calling my husband incredibly hot in multicolor isn't.
Because.....
baby you are so sexy with a yellow mustache.
boww owwwwwwwwwww
and while I do feel like I've spent the most of our married years pregnant and pregnant aaaaand pregnant, I feel like I've been blessed enough to feel so much abundant love over and over again multiplied each day.

I love you, husband.
Happy Anniversary, and thank you for letting me throw paint powder at your face.
That was fun.

S'Happenin'

What's up ya'll?

Oh just chillin' in gigantic tee shirts and collecting food and and drool and other miscellaneous items around our mouths, in our hair, and on our clothes around here.
Just keeping it real for ya.

Adeline has been going to VBS every evening so I've been getting some extra one on one with my cuddlin' boy right there.
His favorite color is yellow (Ehw Oh), if you were wondering.
Which is a less typical and pretty fun favorite color to have, if you ask me.

Other than that just trying to balance 57 other things going on at the same time.
Normally I find that invigorating and really fun, but right now I find it exhausting.
I find sleep invigorating and really fun right now though.
You know, the sleep I get in 1hour and 45 minute intervals in between relieving my ever throbbing bladder.
I'm about 31 weeks along with little Selah baby in there.
I'm also pretty huge, but I picked a flattering photo to post, and it does me total justice.

I go to the doctor later this week, and although I'm not scheduled for an ultrasound, he's going to give me one.
He thinks he's the boss, but I am. So I'm gonna get one.
Because either I'm carrying a gigantic baby or I'm further along than we thought which is totally possible because I have no clue when this child was conceived.
My other two pregnancies were far more problematic so I had an ultrasound or two every month. This pregnancy has been less high risk so I've only had 2 ultrasounds the whole pregnancy! That's kind of a rip off.

Some days I feel like she's so low and already dropped and braxton hicks are so frequent that I just know labor is soon.
buuuuuuuuuuuut my body is ridiculous and it likes to torture itself, plus I go record for carrying babies full 40 weeks, so who knows.
All I know is
#1. This baby better not come while her daddy is away at work.
#2. This baby better not come during a tropical storm/hurricane deal.
#3. This baby better be working on super speedy developing and being super healthy so I can get this pregnancy thing over for good.

Other than that.....we've got some serious transitioning about to go down over here.
So I'm mentally preparing us and my house for it because I'm physically too tired to do anything other than the essentials when I cut more and more of off the list every week.

I managed to do dishes today though.

I should not put that off.
That's a gross chore to have to play catch up on.

Busy times over here.
I'm excited about starting a new bible study this week though.
I've been in a pretty consistent funk lately, and I know God's waiting on me to awaken something in my heart. I'm pretty stoked to see what it is He has for me to learn. Lord knows I need some teachin.

Have a nice Tuesday people. I'm ready for this weekend.
It's going to bring awesomeness.
A bunch of it.

28 Weeks

 7 months down.
and June, July, and August are facing me down looking like moving at snail speeds.

You know,
I think it happened somewhere in the 26th week.
Yea, maybe 25th?
You know, when I lost it.
It as in my rationality, sanity, composure, and reasoning.

Maybe it was the moment I woke up at 2:35am realizing that the wedding rings around my finger were screaming at me to remove them before I'd have to get my finger amputated from lack of circulation.
I'm sorry, I've never, ever had to remove my wedding rings since my wedding day. ever.
Maybe it was the moment I realized my wardrobe was down to four not so fine selections.
And maybe I AM to cheap to buy more clothes for a whopping 2-3 months.
Maybe it was the moment I laid in bed after every aching bone in my body settled down after a long day of chasing children and cleaning floors only to begin to doze off and be awakened to a "Hey, you awake? Can you rub my shoulders and my neck? They're killing me.:
Are you kidding me?
Maybe it was the moment when I lost it because I had to walk all the way to the mail box only to have it empty meaning I'd have to make strategic get away trip later during the day.
Oh yea, I did that! and it was Memorial Day, apparently mail people get that day off.
Maybe it was when I thought I was going to fall on the floor and die a horribly painful death via heartburn.
Don't worry, google says I can't die of heartburn.
Oh yea, maybe it was when I put both kids to nap, plopped my huge self on the couch, and stared at piles of toys, spilled juice, dirty clothes, drug out toilet paper, and dog poop and realized that's all waiting juuust for me!
and then I realized in 3 months I'm adding a newborn to the chaos.
I'm not exactly sure when it happened, but all I know is that I'm a mess.

Seriously.

A mess like I ain't never been before.
and you know it's bad if I typed out that awfully constructed, attitude implied, grammatically butchered sentence.
I mean I'm not normally crazy, despite what my husband might say.
But right now, it's like I'm crazy. and I know it.
and I'm a little bit sorry, but mostly I'm not.
I could list a possible two dozen "serious" issues with me right now, but let's be honest. Most of my pregnancy updates seem to be whiners anyway. I don't wanna bring you down, and really why write and continue to harm on feeling so funky.

I know how absolutely abundantly blessed I am for this stage in my life, and most days I'm able to put my funk aside and serve others which makes the time pass and my heart swell during a time where I feel like it's shrinked otherwise.
This season is about to wrap up, and when Selah is here I predict it to be a lot less overwhelming and a lot more joyful.
A wise friend shared some wisdom with me this week about praying that the enemy doesn't control our emotions.
So every single day since I've been working on that.
Work. In. Progress.

Anyway, hope that nesting stuff kicks in soon.
This place is a wreeeeeccccccccccck! ;)

18 Weeks

This has been my favorite week out of this whole pregnancy!
We had an ultrasound on Thursday and found out that little baby Keb number 3 is indeed a girl.
I got to see her little hands and feet and arms and legs and belly and face and it was all buckets of cuteness. Ultrasounds never grow old.
Adeline was absolutely ecstatic when I came home and told her baby was a sister. I would pay a large amount of money to go back in time and live that moment again (this time recording it). The look on her face was the most genuine happiness in a truly excited little girl. I loved it.
We shop at Target weekly for diapers and more cute things, and every time we'd pass the baby section Adeline would pick a dress or something girly for "the baby in my belly."
I never let her get anything, often resulting in tears on her end, because of course we didn't know baby's gender.
So right after my ultrasound I picked her up and let her pick out something for her sister at Target.
She gave her selection quite the run down and carefully chose this pink little newborn dress. Sweet moments here lately.

So here's the down low on the pregnancy where we are today:
-While I was in the hospital last month the ultrasounds showed I was due sooner than my originally determined due date of September 2nd. The ultrasound I had Thursday determined I'm right on track and only due probably a few days sooner. So my doctor won't officially move my date up, but I claim she's coming late August. Despite my track record of carrying til due date.
-My nausea has been reduced greatly now. I usually am still sick once or twice a day and nauseated throughout the day but at a much more tolerable degree. Most times I'm sick are either because I let my stomach get too empty, smelled something gross, or heartburn gets too bad.
-I have no desire to do anything. Between chasing my active 3 and 1 year old I have become queen slacker on housework and anything else falling under my responsibilities.
-I've got a whole lot of pregnancy acne like I had with Adeline.
-I've been having a lot of ligament pain lately.
-I hate pants. I have to remember to put pants on when I go out to walk the dog or get the mail. [Unexpected visitors, always let me know you're coming! ]
-My hair and nails are growing at lightening speed. I thought the other day that maybe I'd cut my hair short for the summer. That thought immediately followed Gideon grabbing a handful of hair and yanking my head back throwing me off balance as I fell to the side. I hope I can continue to tolerate these long locks. I like um when little ones aren't pulling on them.
-I'm always scorching hot, and I most definitely am referring to temperature wise not looking so hot.
-I've already gained back some of the weight that I lost last trimester. [Sarcastic yay]
-I've felt her since about 13 weeks but now that subtly is turning into ferocity! Baby girl rocks the house after Momma enjoys a coconut snowball.
-She is about the size of a sweet potato, and she's estimated at weighing in about 8-9ounces.
-I already went through some of Adeline's baby clothes that I kept, and I think I'm covered for size newborn, but since Adeline was an infant in the spring/summer and Selah will be an infant in the fall/winter, I'll have to pick up some things for her after she's born.
-We're starting to plan out what the girls' room will look like as we contemplate investing in a new bed/bunk beds soon. (OMG I said girls' as in plural)
-We're also thinking of a bigger vehicle. We have a nice new Terrain that fits the four of us nicely, but we're doubting our ability to squeeze the five of us in there for very long. Maybe if we trade in sooner rather than later, we'll get more for it.
-We love Selah's name, and we're very okay that some don't.

I feel so blessed right now. I pray and pray and pray that this pregnancy continues to go smoothly and she remains healthy.

and We Have a...

We took a peek at baby 3 today, and now we will call her a she!
We are having another girl, and we all wear sweet smiles today for another sister!
She's a tiny 8 ounces right now, but in just a few months she'll be big enough to fit inside this sweet newborn dress her big sister excitedly picked out for her this morning.
We've also given her a name today after seeing her gorgeous little face and her precious little feet.
Happy hearts in our home today.

Not Always Buttercups

This is my first blog post from my new computer!
It's exciting.
I can probably write this whole thing without the computer freezing, and the pictures are loading up just fine.
Things have been kind of off around here lately.
Pregnancy does funky things to my mind (and body and house among other things).
The normal non-pregnant Courtney is ordered, routined, and organized; but right now I feel like everything is everywhere and all jumbled up. When I do have the energy to sort through it or get on top of it, it's undone just as quickly as it was created. It drives me crazy(ier).
Philip has been working every day for a long time. I was really sad when he even had to work all day Sunday last week. Most times since I'm here with the kids I'm doing the primary parenting. When Philip comes home late in the evening from work I kind of just want him to take over. I sit on the couch for the first time in the day and just expect him to change a diaper or wish he'd bathe the kids. He kind of just wants to relax and wind down from a long day. I guess that's normal on both sides, but maybe when he isn't working such crazy hours it'll feel like a little relief for both of us.I miss his energy around us! I miss his help! I miss him!!
Adeline and Gideon have been such a challenge lately. You know, I always knew I was born to be a mother. Like, playing house as a kid was totally my future in my 5-10 year old brain. I went to college and took some child psychology classes, and I remember literally thinking "I've so got this." God sure humbled me with Adeline, because sometimes I feel so overwhelmed in battle with her strong will.
Gideon is walking now, and he's trying to climb on everything, which is leading towards more falls resulting in bumps and bruises. I'm sorry but my kids are way to good-looking for bumps and bruises.
Haha. He's also starting to throw fits when he doesn't get what he wants. He's 14 months now, and this is much later than Adeline started throwing fits (10mo). Poor Gideon just gets laughed at when he's on the floor throwing a tantrum. I'm all like Haha, that's all you got? Your sisters tantrums totally trump whatever it is you're doing down there. None the less sometimes between the two of them and still feeling nauseous throughout the day I feel so overwhelmed and helpless sometimes.
My groove will come right back the minute this precious baby evacuates my body in August. Right after I had Gideon I was cooking and cleaning and happily working full force as the wife and mother I love to be. I guess I'm just looking forward to that time already. It feels like such a long time away. This is my first time being big and pregnant in the summer, and with a hot spring already I'm unsure of exactly how I'm going to survive the upcoming months. We should find out the baby's gender tomorrow! I'm so excited to know I can hardly wait. Sometimes I fantasize about owning a sonogram machine, I'm that impatient. Adeline really wants a baby sister.
A couple of days ago she got very upset with me when I tried to explain to her that the baby could be a boy and we will love him the same if it is. "No mommy, the baby is a girl, she will be my sister. You can have a boy baby after you have the girl baby." Um are you kidding me kid?
I'd love a big family, I'd love more kids, but I'd love to be able to thrive at my role right now, and while I'm growing babies inside of my tired belly my thriving is sluggish. I'm looking forward to having our three and nurturing them.

14 weeks

 14 weeks
Boy? Girl? Boy? Girl?
This wait drives me nuts.
Today I called Philip at work to ask him about a potential baby name, and he fussed me because he thought something was wrong since I never call at work.
I can't help it!
Baby on the brain!
You'd think I'd care less about the gender this go round since I already have one of each and neither sex will be anything new to our family.
I really can't wait to find out though.
I genuinely don't prefer one over the other so that's good.
I really want a boy!
but I really want a girl.
but a boy would be easier.
but a girl would be easier to name.
Haha see!???? I'm a little bit crazy.

Like.... I'm turning to wives tales crazy.
See:

Fetal Heart Rate and Gender Another popular gender prediction method is based on the baby's heart rate. If the baby's heart rate is over 140 beats per minute, then you are having a girl. If the baby's heart rate is under 140 beats per minute, you are having a boy.

For Adeline the wives tale was proven, she always had a high heart rate.

For Gideon the wives tale was true, he always had a lower heart rate.

Wives tale accordingly baby3 would be a girl with a heart rate always in the 170s.

Chinese Gender Chart:  Ancient Chinese Gender Chart is over 700 years old. The legend said that the Chinese birth gender chart was found in a royal tomb by a Chinese scientist. Chinese gender chart fertility calendar was recently discovered and is now used to predict the gender of the unborn baby.

For Adeline the Chinese Gender Chart was false and predicted she was a boy.

For Gideon the Chinese Gender Chart was true!

For baby3 the Chinese Gender Chart predicts girl.

How you carry boy or girl: One of the popular myths is how you carry your baby can predict the gender. If you carry high, then it's a girl; and if you carry low, it's a boy. If most of your weight is in front, then you are having a boy; if your most of your weight is in the middle, then you should plan for a girl.

 For all 3 I carried/am carrying low.
So that would be false for Adeline.
True for Gideon.
and that predicts baby3 as a boy.

Your cravings gender determination: Some myths propose that if you are craving sweets during your pregnancy, you are having a girl. If you are craving spicy and salty foods, then you are having a boy.

Well... I don't crave anything at all when I'm pregnant.
Except for about 1 week each pregnancy I craved strawberry Starbursts. Just the pink ones.
So this would be true for Adeline.
False for Gideon.
and predicts baby3 as a girl

and then there's the trusty everyone else's gender guess: Where all of your family and friends make a solid guess at the baby's gender.
For Adeline most of my friends and family guessed girl, so it was true.
For Gideon most of my family and friends guessed boy, so it was true.
For baby3 from what I'm hearing most of ya'll are on team pink which estimates girl

Sooooo although the majority of the wives tales predict I'm having a girl, I'm pretty much still very confused on what I think this baby bunny is. Wives tales predicting gender are silly. There are some I haven't tried because I refuse to pee on something weird just to watch the color turn and the ring on a string over the belly thing is just untrusting because I the person holding the string can manipulate it OR you can't even tell if its spinning or swinging.I guess I could give credit to the heart rate wives tale since it has been true for both of my little ones, but I'm thinking really it's just a fun little thing to keep you guessing!
I'm 14 weeks now. I go to the doctor later this week for a follow up and then we'll schedule my gender ultrasound then I think. They usually do it around 18 weeks, so I'd have to wait a month! I do know a little ultrasound specialty place here that guarantees gender determination as early as 16 weeks, but that'd be out of pocket for us to pay for, so I'm thinking I'll just wait until the end of March for my insurance covered ultrasound. It is very tempting though to sneak over and peek and whether we're going to be naming a little sister or brother.

I know either way God has made a perfect selection to the newest addition over here. Excited for when he lets us in on the secret.

We have a few girl names picked out, and so far we haven't even touched boy names and won't unless well, baby is a boy. We have such a hard time agreeing on boy names and had a really crazy time naming Gideon.
So I guess that's where we're at pregnancy wise. It's kind of been kicking my bum keeping up with these two when all I want to do is kick back on the couch. I'm looking forward to the fall when I have all three babies here and ready to love on. Until then just thanking God for this gift!

A Little Vacation

Friday morning I checked into the hospital for some fluids. At first I felt terrible and defeated and super down. I was really tired too. It's really embarrassing for me to have to go in and go through the process of getting admitted because when I'm that low I can't walk and all I do is cry. (The nurse who started (and failed 3 times) my IV asked while I sniffled and moaned "Is this your first pregnancy?" No my third "Oh, how old is your oldest?" three. "OH HAHA WOW" and my soft cry goes from hysterical I cannot breathe cry. "I'll stop talking so you stop crying." thank you.) I hadn't kept anything down for two days, and I couldn't sleep through the nausea at night so I puked instead of slept. Yea, that's exhausting. When it gets really hard like that sometimes I just have to rehydrate to get back on my feet. Once I got some fluids and meds and my throat started to heal I was feeling better I was totally cool with it though.
They didn't even make me wear a hospital gown this time.
SCORE!
Plus I got wheeled to ultrasound (and passed the cafeteria where they were FRYING FISH at 10am!!! Stupid fish.) and got to see a sweet little baby moving about in my belly.
and baby was suckin' a thuuuuuumb!
DOUBLE SCORE!
I didn't have to keep down meds because they went through my IV.
I didn't have to eat a thing because the fluids were my food, and we had to let my throat and esophagus heal so it'd stop bleeding from the rawness of acid erosion.
I didn't have to change diapers, wipe butts, pick up spills, and feed and chase children for two days!

While I do not typically enjoy my stays here at the hospital, this one felt like a vacation.
You know, minus the beach and water and plus the needles.

It's weird, but it was kinda of nice not throwing up for two days and not even having to force myself to eat.
Philip's been working so much I hardly ever see him anymore, but lucky for me he felt sorry enough for me to take off of work and keep me company.

We pretty much just did this:
-watched Mr. Deeds
-exceeded our data plans on iphone words with friends and family fued
and when he went home I slept WITHOUT having to wake up to take anyone to the bathroom or change a diaper or walk a dog.

I came home with a new love for Sprite, which I'm sure I'll be over by Tuesday or something.
I missed my babies so it was good to cuddle on them again.
Then life resumed and I was back on duty.
Being on duty is a lot easier when I feel well.

Oh well, at least no one is waking me up to check my vitals anymore.

I had a dream baby was a girl a while back so I've been convinced we'd get another sister. Now I'm starting to second guess and think baby is a boy. So since I'm all confused and can't make up my mind I put up a poll over there top right of the blog. Tell me what you think it is. I'm usually always wrong, and for Adeline it seemed like everyone guessed girl and for Gideon everyone guessed boy. So you're pretty much probably righter than me in gender guessing my baby.

We will know in March!
