Homemade Wooden Antiqued Blocks

I've been begging Philip to cut Adeline's blocks for months now, and he finally did! [the only powertool I am allowed to touch is the electric sander].

So between learning to knit, entertaining a demanding baby, cooking, and cleaning; I managed to get these done.

I wanted them to look old, worn, and antique.
I think I accomplished that.

Although making them took many coats of modpodge and a lot of patience, I actually enjoyed the process. These will make great gifts!!
I have a letter of the alphabet on each block. Each block has 3 capitol letters and 3 lower case.

My next set I'll have to throw numbers in there.
My Squiggles loved them--
I think:
It was hard to tell since this guy was on.
