Flashback Friday

Today I decided to join in on Christopher and Tia's Flashback Fridays.

I always enjoy following her flashbacks, so I'm thinking I'll start regularly linking up with her--

 This is my flashback photo.
I came across it as I've been looking at all of my past hair photos.

I'm kind of shopping around for a new do', but I really can't figure out what I want to do.
Mostly because I'm kind of low maintence now and a lot of my past hair styles were kind of high maintenence.
But I also have really thin hair that not every style and cut works on.

This photo was taken during 2006 when I was sportin' my fav hairstyle to date.
That would be called...
scene hair.

Yea, I know, but it looked good on me.
Not to mention--
did you know I was a blonde?

Actually I've been every color.
Browns, blondes, black, reds, purple even.

I really liked the blonde, although since I'm obviously not a natural it takes a lot of upkeep.

I still don't know what hairstyle I'll be choosing for the summer (because I do have to choose one and probably even start coloring again because I have 2397534 white hairs all of a sudden)....but I did enjoy looking back at some of my blonde days.
It was a wild time while I was a blonde, I will say that.
;)

  1. That is a great color and do. It's very cool :) I was a blond kid, but as an adult, I can't pull blond off to save my life, which seems weird since it was my natural hair color until I was about 8. Now, it just looks tacky!

  2. i was always too chicken to go all blonde... i DID get highlights in 10th grade though and they were a little... actually A LOT... excessive. i got made fun of for looking like the drummer of the smashing pumpkins.

    your blonde suits you well!

  4. You look great as a blonde! I grew up blonde and always swore I'd stay blonde...but you're right. The upkeep is tedious and sometimes rather costly. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the summer! Happy Friday!

  5. I love the pictures! So beautiful! And I have been every color myself as well, including blue when I was an emo highschool student! At the moment I am where you were. A total fake blonde with tons of upkeep! Ugh! It is exhausting, but so worth it! I love being blonde, for now...

  7. I love changing my hair & color all the time too! Now that I am a mom though I don't color my hair as much.. but I do cut it. I am waiting for it to grow out as of now. I had it cut like Rihana's hair back in October.

I too have thin hair so I try to get layers when getting it cut. Have you had an inverted bob before.. some know as the A line? I love that cut & it makes my hair look thicker then it is once I blow dry it :-)

  10. Isn't it more fun to have different hair colors! I keep thinking about adding pink again! I stopped doing that after I got pregnant, and then it was just a matter of easy maintenance. You look go with the scene hair!

  11. Oh I've totally had scene hair before. The bigger choppier and messier, the better off I was. I also had a HUGE bouffant back before they were trendy- I ate through like 3 cans of aquanet a week. Now I'm plain jane, wearing a ponytail most days, haha.

Make sure you keep us updated on whtaever new hairstyle you choose??
