and a [Faux] Christmas Morning

It isn't exactly December 25th yet, but you betcha Santa did make a special trip for a blond haired, blue eyed, rosey cheeked little girl.
He left a little mess behind, but whos to blame him? I'm sure he had to rush back up to the North Pole as soon as he was finished.

The stockings were emptied, the wrapping paper covered the floors, the scissors got lost 10 times, and it felt like Christmas morning.
We ate cookies and milk for breakfast, because I'm the momma and I make the rules.
I hunted down tiny doll shoes and wished I'd have gotten more batteries.
We headed off to church and had a great worship service along with a beautiful word.

I'd say it was a Merry Christmas, faux real!

  4. Oh, how sweet! This is what we've done every year since Brandon has never been home for Christmas Day itself; however, this year he left the very beginning of December. We let Lexie open just a few of her presents, but we're waiting for Santa to come since it was so early then. Looks like you guys had a beautiful time! <3
