This is a tricky post.
You might think I'd talk about how delightful the smell of banana bread baking in the oven is as it slowly swirls through my house from room to room just under our noses.
Maybe you'd think I'd give you an out of this world recipe for a banana bread that will make your mouth water as a fork full slowly makes its way to your lips.
Really this is just a post sharing my excitement about something much cooler than the banana bread itself...
It's my new awesome, fancy, really super, pretty, Kitchen Aid mixer.
This puppy has topped all of my gift lists for the last 5 years, and now it ain't just a wish, it's on my kitchen counter.
It's really, really cool and I literally gasped and did a little dance when it made it's way to my doorstep from the Fed Ex truck yesterday. EEeeeeeeeeee
