15 Weeks Left

I'm 25 weeks pregnant now, although I'd really rather count by weeks I have left rather than weeks far along I am.
I look more like 35 weeks pregnant, huh?
[Don't answer that, I already know.]
Seriously, I feel way bigger this pregnancy than my first. The belly is definitely larger, but my weight is about the same as it was this far along with Adeline.
I mean, by the end of the day, I'm already waddling people.

I can already feel him under my ribs when I'm not sitting up straight; I have a feeling he's going to be a pretty big boy. Although, Adeline was big too, at 40 weeks we induced because they were afraid she'd be too large to have naturally. She ended up at 8 pounds 1 ounce and 21 inches long.
and let me tell you I felt every 21 inches in there!

Eughh I don't even want to talk about that anymore.

Anyway, I've been hard at work clearing out my old craft room to transform into a nursery.
Maybe that's where the waddle comes from, it was after all pretty hard work doing it all by myself.
It paid off though! I feel like I have a blank canvas to work in, but now I just don't know what I want to do in it.
The wall color is a cloudy blue, and I'm not repainting. That's the color I painted when we built the house, and to be honest I just don't feel like repainting it. I probably should since it needs a few touch ups, but I know the paint is in the attic and with the heat to it it's probably slightly discolored. Oh well.

His dresser was moved in yesterday. It's an antique from my grandma. I originally wanted to paint it white and distress it a little, but my mom won't let me paint it since my grandma had it refinished a few years ago. It's free and we needed a dresser so I took it anyway. Plus that would just be another thing I'd have to get done.
I'm really glad I took it and I'm starting to love it just the way it is. The honey chestnut color matches the floor well, and I think that's the color I'll go with for the crib too. The knobs are crystal, and I think I'm going to change them to some big brushed nickel knobs to make it a little more masculine, but other than that I just need to get a changing pad for the top, and that's that!
Oh, he even has a few things in it although, I'm going to need to do some baby boy shopping pretty soon!
and the crib is going to go here between the windows. That's the chalk/peg board Philip made me for my craft room. It's obviously going to go, but it's too heavy for me to move by myself, so I've got to wait a couple of weeks until he's back. Our ugly electrical panel is underneath there, so I'll definitely be hanging something in it's place. I was thinking just a big board with striped fabric and maybe a big letter G or something, but I'm not loving that idea yet, so if you have any suggestions please, please, please throw them my way!
Here are some fabric swatches I'm planning on going with in the nursery. I really love gray, and I think I want mostly gray, silver, and orange accents in this room. I think it'll be a pretty contrast against the icey blue.

At first I was thinking of doing a mild goldfish theme in the room, but now I'm leaning towards no particular theme just strong and soft accents throughout. I don't know.

So, I have some questions/need some opinions:

-Do you have any clue or ideas on what I can put on the wall in place of my gigantic chalkboard that will cover the electrical box?
-Are those polka dots too girly?
- I'm not opposed to painting anything thing on the walls, but I was learning towards maybe a gray design here and there rather than animals or a mural or anything. Any ideas on where I can go there that would be something subtle?
-I've been slowly internet searching, but I don't think I'm looking in the right spots. Everythign I'm finding is either too cartoony or just not my style. If you have some pictures or a good website or seller that you could send my way, I'd love that!

I have 2 weeks to do any decorating before Philip gets in. I kind of want to go one way or the other before he's home so that he can't talk me out of anything, which he often does.
;)

Thanks guys!!
Have a lovely weekend

Clean Up on Isle 3 and 4

When we were designing the floor plan of our house, it was originally a 3 bedroom plan.
Against Philip's better judgment I convinced him to turn the 3 spacious bedrooms into 4 average size bedrooms [with the exception of the master bed, which we kept at it's original size].

This was mostly because I wanted to fill each spare bedroom with a little kiddie one day, and I thought it'd be nice for each to have his and her own room.

When it was just the 2 of us the 3 spare bedrooms were:
-craft room
-workout room
-guest bedroom

Then I had Adeline and my craft room got booted and she got herself a pretty little place to lay down her sweet head.

The guest bedroom eventually turned into my craft room, which is now what I like to call our "creative room"
I set it up so that Adeline can work on some little projects while I can craft away on my own.

The workout room.... well
no one ever goes in there.
Once Philip got a better paying job we ditched that rusty exercise equipment and invested in a gym membership, which I now completely despise for taking all of my husband's spare time away.

ANYWAY
we've got a little mister on the way and he'll need a room to call his own too.
So the workout room will be turned into my craft room, and my craft room will be baby boy's room.

A lot of switching around, I know but it's all for closet and strategic reasons that would bore you even more than you already are.

So now that Philip is home we can make the switch in rooms, and I can start designing the nursery as well as redesigning my 3rd and final craft room.

For sake of completely embarrassing myself, let me show you how much of a job this is going to be:
This is our "creative room" in it's present state:
and this is our "workout room" in it's current state:
Right now it's mostly fostering Adeline's out grown clothes and Philip's guns, besides the actual workout equipment and treadmill that I swear are in there.

In my defense these rooms haven't been occupied in at least 5 months since I've been sick.
I'm talking ZERO dusting, organizing, vacuuming, or cleaning of any kind for going on 6 months.I'm ashamed, I am.
Yea this is so going to suck.

BUT I have some inspiration for my craft room:

I have no idea where I got this photo from [somewhere on the big ole www] but whoever it belongs to you are amazing and you should come to my house and help a sister out.
Philip is going to flip when he sees how much of this I actually want him to recreate, but eventually it will get here.

and as far as the nursery...
I've got inspiration, it's just all in my jumbled head right now.

The rest of my house is kept up pretty well, and these two rooms literally gave me anxiety yesterday by just opening the doors.
I'm thinking this is going to take a while.
